2/23/2024 The "brettstuhl" reconditioning is complete! With a little oil and wax, the veneer carving on the seat and back really pops. In all, I re-glued the seat's veneer so it's stable and won't catch on your pant leg, I reattached the legs and leveled the seat, and, after reshaping the wedge that holds the back in place, I reset the back to solidly join the seat. The chair is ready to be put back in service. What a cool piece!Â
